It’s here again, the highlight of our year- Sydney Bar Week. Where we drink and eat and be merry every night with no shame because it’s a festival so it’s cultural or something something.
But here’s what we are looking forward to at this year’s Bar Week.
27th September, 3pm-5pm
$75
It’s a gin fest over at your favourite drinking hairdresser as the boys from the Barber Shop will take you on a historic journey of gin cocktails created and made in Britain. So grab your bowler hat, cane and pipe and head over from 3pm for a little afternoon snifter.
28th September, 1.30pm-4pm
$20
Our favourite music themed bar is going beer crazy inviting 10 of Australia’s best craft brewers to battle it out for the coveted Golden Record Award. $20 gets you entry to the battle, a vote and a hot dog! There’ll also be live music and the normal delicious bar activity.
28th September, 5pm-7pm
$65
Including 3 cocktails and some tasty canapés, Hinky Dinks are going pacific with a tiki Luau partay. Their food is so good on a normal night so how good will it be with a delicious Hawaiian theme? SO GOOD is the answer. Polenta chips, tiki wings, popcorn chicken.
29th September, 7pm
Get a little Mexican in ya with this mezcal tasting journey of ancient proportions. Sydney bar guru, Mike Tomasic, will be pouring the tasty treats from 7pm. Where’s my sombrero?
